Account Switching on Brighteon

If you manage multiple Brighteon accounts, you can link them together for easier access and switch between them without logging in and out each time.

Linking Another account:

You can link another account in two ways:

Option 1: Link Through Account Settings

1. Go to Account Settings > Linked Account.
2. At the bottom of the list, click Link Another Account.
3. Enter the email address of the account you want to link and click Send Link Request.
4. A confirmation email will be sent to that address.
5. Open the email and click Confirm Link Request to complete the process.

Option 2: Link Through Login

1. In the top-right corner of the Brighteon page, click your profile picture.
2. Click Switch Account.
3. Click Add Account at the bottom of the list.
4. Log in to the Brighteon account you want to link.

NOTE: 

• Linked accounts are browser/device-based. If you use a new browser or device, the primary account owner must link the accounts again.
• You can link up to 10 accounts per browser.
• Even if you add an account while logged into a non-primary account, it will still be linked under the primary account.

Switch Between account on Brighteon

Switching accounts is quick and easy.

1. In the top-right corner of the Brighteon page, click your profile picture.

2. Click Switch Account.

   

3. Select the account you want to use from the list.

Tip: You can always check the account name and icon in the top-right corner to confirm which account you are currently using.

Removing or Unlinking an Account

If you want to remove a linked account:

1. Go to Account Settings > Linked Account.
2. Click Unlink Account next to the account you want to remove.

Note: You must be logged into the primary account to remove a linked account.

Setting a New Primary Account

The first account you log into on Brighteon becomes the primary account by default. You can change this anytime.

1. Make sure you are logged into the current primary account.
2. Go to Account Settings > Linked Account.
3. Click Set Primary on the account you want to make the new primary account.
4. Confirm by clicking Set Primary in the prompt.

What Is a Primary Account?

The primary account is the main account that manages all linked accounts.

• Only the primary account can add or remove linked accounts.
• All linked accounts are managed under the primary account.
