If you often use the same category, keywords, or other details when uploading videos, you can save time by setting default values.
When you upload new content, these details will automatically fill in using your saved defaults. You can still edit them anytime before publishing.
1. Video Publicity
Determines who can see your video once it’s uploaded.
- Public: Anyone can view it.
- Private: Only you (and people you specifically share it with) can view it.
- Unlisted: The video doesn’t appear in search results or on your channel, but anyone with the link can watch it.
2. Video Category
Specifies the main topic or type of your video, helping viewers and search engines understand your content.
3. Video Description
A short paragraph that explains what your video is about. You can include links, timestamps, or credits here.
Setting a default description can be useful if you often include the same information (e.g., social media links or disclaimers).
4. Keywords (Tags)
Words or phrases that describe your video content. These help people find your videos through search.
Setting default keywords is useful if your videos often focus on similar topics.
