Video Visibility and Schedule Setting

What are the video visibility options when uploading a video?

When uploading a video, you can set the visibility to Public, Private, or Unlisted.

• Public 
  Your video will appear on your channel page and on Brighteon pages. 
  It can also be shared on other websites.
• Private 
  Your video will be hidden from your channel page and from all Brighteon pages. 
  The video cannot be shared.
• Unlisted 
  Your video will not appear on your channel page or on Brighteon pages. 
  However, it can still be accessed by anyone who has the main video link, and it is shareable to other websites.

 

How do I schedule a video release?

To schedule your video, set the Scheduling option to Scheduled on the upload page.

You will see the following scheduling fields:

• Listing Date 
  The video will appear on your channel page, but it will not be playable yet. 
  Viewers can set a reminder and leave comments while waiting for the video to go live. 
  This is optional — you can leave it blank if you want the video to appear immediately after processing.
• Live Date 
  This is the date and time the video will be released and become playable.
• Make Video Hide On 
  The video will automatically return to Private on the date and time you set here.
